End of Season Awards - Dominant Series Win for ASM Race Team!

After a brilliant season in the Project 8 Racing Saloons Series, it was great to wrap up the year with the end of season awards evening.
A great night, with some well deserved awards enabled the drivers, team members and supporters to get together and celebrate a fantastic season. For the ASM Race Team, it was especially good to see Adam Sharpe handed the series Winner's Trophy from Colin Tester, last year's winner. Colin made a kind speech, mentioning the abilities of Adam and his team before passing over the Winner's Trophy.
In return, Adam thanked a number of people for the season - including George Haynes for introducing him to the series, the series committee for the excellent organisation, Colin Tester for his great competition on circuit and Steve Edwards, from Jacks BMW Garage in Taunton, for his on-going relentless commitment to the series and the team's BMW M3 race car. Adam went on to say 'without these people the season wouldn't have gone so smoothly', enabling him to win the series.
ASM Race Team are currently rebuilding the BMW M3 ready for the 2012 season. The team are wanting to compete in the Racing Saloons Series again, whilst also looking at taking part in some BritCar and VLN races.
